Kaneka Corporation attended the Complementary Medicines Australia (CMA) Innovation Seminar titled ‘The New Normal’ at Dockside in Sydney’s Darling Harbour on 5 May 2022.
The event attracted more than 200 delegates from within the industry including representatives of pharmaceutical companies, regulatory bodies, research and biotech sectors, as well as manufacturers, brandholders and retailers.
It was an opportunity for the industry to hear about the latest innovative trends, measures to achieve sustainability goals, and insights occurring in the industry with a lens on the future.
Futurist, Paull Higgins kicked off the proceedings predicting trends including personalised health and medicine set to dominate in the next decade, with biomarker devices having a strong presence and increased patient segmentation.
Mark Blumenthal, the Founder of the American Botanicals Council, zoomed in to give a fascinating history of garlic through the ages, from Ancient Egyptian natural medicine application right through to the Middle Ages and beyond.
Kaneka was an exhibitor at the event and fielded numerous enquiries about the precise science behind their development and perfecting of Ubiquinol, the active and major form of CoQ10 that naturally occurs in the body. Ubiquinol has a solid evidence base for supporting increased energy synthesis, maintenance of a healthy cardiovascular system and improved fertility.
The CMA is the leading expert association exclusively committed to a vital and sustainable complementary healthcare products industry. The CMA represents all participants in the complementary healthcare industry, including raw material suppliers like Kaneka.
