Always feeling tired? Even after a sufficient night’s sleep, often we can still feel sluggish. If you are finding it difficult to get out of bed in the morning or bounce back after exercise your bodies energy supplies may be depleted. Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) is the antioxidant responsible for powering the bodies cellular energy[i]. The ageing process along with stress and physical exertion may contribute to the depletion of CoQ10 – leading to an increased feeling of fatigue[ii]. Below we explore some useful way to fight tiredness.

  1. Ubiquinol and Energy Production

Instead of powering shorts burst of your day with a caffeine overload, it may be worth considering some form of natural supplementation, such as Ubiquinol. Ubiquinol is the active form of the powerful antioxidant CoEnzymeQ10 (CoQ10) that occurs naturally in the body. This lipid-soluble antioxidant is essential for energy production in the cells of our body and provides protection against inflammation and oxidative stress[i]. Ubiquinol also helps support our heart health;  maintains healthy blood vessels by inhibiting the oxidation of LDL cholesterol and prolongs the antioxidant activity of vitamin C and vitamin E by regenerating them back to their antioxidant form.

  1. Regular Exercise

  1. Wholesome Foods

Eating that foods that are rich in antioxidant and omega 3 are vital in fighting off disease and improving your energy levels.[v] These can include, but are not limited to blueberries, leafy green vegetables, sweet potatoes[vi] and fish[vii]. Therefore fuelling your body with the right ingredients can assist in relieving feeling of fatigue.
