How Ubiquinol can Help Achieve your Fitness Goals

Are you Struggling to Recover between Workouts?

It may be because your Ubiquinol levels are low. Time and time again, research has demonstrated the importance of daily moderate intensity physical exercise for optimal health. However, as we age a decline in our body’s natural ubiquinol levels can prevent us from performing at our physical peak.

The Science of Ubiquinol

As we burn energy with physical activity, our body releases free radicals (molecules with unpaired electrons) that have the potential to interfere with the normal functioning of body tissues. The unpaired electrons make free radicals unstable, linking them to oxidative stress which may accelerate health problems. The role of antioxidants in our body is to combat free radicals and oxidative stress.

Often when we exercise, a key antioxidant found naturally in body, coq10, may become depleted. Ubiquinol, the active form of coq10, is responsible for supporting cellular energy production, including the cells of your heart and muscles, contributing to optimum energy levels.

Furthermore, excessive fatigue may also lead to a decline in ubiquinol levels. Studies have shown that a depletion of ubiquinol levels may reduce energy production in your body- which may make it harder for you to exercise without feeling as though you are putting your body through excessive physical strain.

No matter what age, Ubiquinol can help support your fitness goals

A clinical trial following 100 young and healthy German Olympic athletes found that taking a Ubiquinol supplementation regularly over a 6-week period significantly enhanced their peak physical performance by up to 11%.[1]

The same study suggested that Ubiquinol supplementation may have broader benefits beyond the realm of elite competitive sport. Meaning that everyday people, both young and elderly, may also experience an improvement in their physical performance from taking ubiquinol.

If excessive fatigue is causing you to struggle to keep up the 30 minutes per day of physical exercise recommended for adults, a ubiquinol supplementation may increase your levels of cellular energy production and help you reach your optimum physical performance.

Before taking a ubiquinol supplement seek medical advice from a doctor or consult your healthcare practitioner to find out whether a supplement is right for you. Always read the label.
